i'm learning to bake bread. and it takes time. once the results start tasting promising there's no going back. nothings better than home cooked bread. then may as well master pizza dough? it's easier and almost as versatile.... there's this dough consistency thing that really matters. water content. bread dough benefits from being goo-ey to the point of pain-in-the-ass to handle wet. oiled hands helps. adept handling, minimal flour addition. then there's pizza dough, easy and more flour intensive so you get the dough ball that's satisfying and plump, like a baby's hiney. a clean not sticky hiney (not poopy). pizza dough is simpler and malleable. bread dough is more technical cause you push the H20 level as far as possible to make dough wet and persuade it into it's vessel.
