for all sorts of things. they add flavor and heat without adding salty-ness (like hot sauce). going back to my eugene oregon college days i was surprised to discover a new condiment, that being brewer's yeast. they served that shit on all sorts of stuff. for me it worked really well on 20-cent ramen. this bare bones noodle bowl works great with scallions, hot pepper, and yeast application.
thanksgiving day highlight was watching Skyfall (a must on the big screen) at our local theater with a bag of buttered popcorn with yeast. proud to live in a place where the movie theater serves yeast w/ popcorn.
